OPI Soft Shades Collection

Killing me softly... with this lacquer.... :)

Okay so here is a collection I anticipated since... oh ... February! OPI Soft Shades have arrived and they are everything and a bag of chips!

When I transition from one season to another (which happened only twice this year in Canada (Winter 8 months --> Summer 4 months lol), I find it difficult to make the switch from dark shades to light. Behold the answer to your transition challenges! A soft nude worn glossy or matte is supremely on trend this spring and OPI has once again delievered just in time!

As always 2 coats (some 3 I'll let you know which ones!) + top coat. Here we go!

First, is 'Act Your Beige', a light, breezy sheer beige. I used three coats for this one, easy application, thin coats to build to your desired opacity.

Second lacquer is 'Chiffon My Mind', this is a sheer white shade, with a slight pearly finish (you can see it captured in the bottle!) The formula on this one was a bit tricky, 2 thin (very thin coats gets you here!) You really have to let that base dry before applying second coat!

Our third lacquer is 'This Silver's Mine', a pearlescent silver which for me seems to pull a little pink - do you see it?!

Next up is my fave fave fave! I love glitter - and this one has daisy decals in it too! This is 'Petal Soft'. I had to glitter-fish for the daisies (I used a small toothpick to fish em' out!) I adore this to the moooon!

The second last one is 'Put it in Neutral!' This is my least favorite only because it was super sheer and my desire for opacity just takes over my body lol Lovely shade and this was 3 coats! :)

Our last shade is 'Make Light of the Situation', I saved the sparkle for last!! I layered it over "Act your Beige'. There are no words. Behold, Glitter in all it's glittery glory:

I hope you enjoyed this collection! SPRING is finally here - FINALLY!!

Happy painting!
