OPI Fifty Shades of Grey

5 grey/silver's + a red!

Here we go ladies and gents, the book becomes reality! I have a few swatches of the new OPI Fifty Shades of Grey Collection that releases January 1st. Let's get started, as always 2 coats (a third for some I will indicate which!) + top coat... here we go!

First up is 'Cement the deal', a creamy pale grey, fully opaque in 2 easy coats (this was my fave of the bunch!)

Our second shade is 'Embrace the gray' and believe me I wanted to! Unfortunately I had trouble with this formula and needed three thin coats to get my desired look! Beautiful shade though, just a smidge darker then above...

Next up is 'Dark side of the mood', again this formula required 3 coats for me and left me a bit streaky, though I love love LOVE this one when it sets!

Our fourth shade is 'My silk tie', we all know that famous book cover don't we!? Silvers are incredibly difficult to capture and my photos always look a bit... well... strange. Here she is!

Next we have 'Shine for me', which can be worn on its own or over a shade. This is very easy to apply, I swatched it here for you on it's own!

Our last shade is a beautiful crimson called 'Romantically involved', the only color in this collection. I do have a few dupes for this, though a nice addition to any collection, 2 easy coats for this one...

There you have it! Hope you enjoyed the swatches! Have you read the book? Will you be seeing the movie!?

Happy Painting!
